Explosive Verdict

When down on his luck lawyer Jonas Calver is hired to defend an ex-soldier on a murder charge, things seem to be looking up for the maverick attorney. But he soon discovers he’s bagged a client who is not quite what he seems, and a case he can’t win.     But with the clock ticking down on a slam dunk  guilty verdict Calver’s not finished yet; when he gets wind of a witness who may hold vital evidence – an ex-army buddy from the defendant’s old bomb disposal unit, allegedly linked to the unsolved killing of an Afghan family – the hunt is on.    What follows is a high octane courtroom drama and a desperate race to find the elusive witness who may not only be able to  break the case wide open, he might just also hold the key to something far more sinister.
